They'll be performing many of their top hits you know & love such as: I'm So Excited, Fire, He's So Shy, Automatic, Slow Hand, Neutron Dance, Yes We Can, Jump for My Love & many more! Come join us! Brenda Jones

Vocalist

Brenda Jones began her musical journey at a young age, learning from Barbara Streisand's music teacher in Brooklyn, NY. Her early success in talent shows and local bands paved the way for her career as a professional recording artist, resulting in three singles. In 1982, she signed with Wave Records and released her debut single, "My Heart’s Not In It." Four years later, in 1986, she appeared on Sinnamon's single "Say It Again," produced by Darryl Payne on Spring Records. Additionally, she contributed to Chaz Jankel's first album with the track "You’re My Occupation."

Throughout the 1980s, Brenda had the privilege of touring with the iconic NYC girl group, The Crystals. For over thirty years, she has captivated audiences with her powerful and sultry voice, performing at various clubs and venues in the Tri-State area. Brenda continues to bring elegance and excitement to the stage, leaving a lasting impression wherever she performs.

Edlene Hart

Producer & Vocalist

Edlene Hart began her singing career in 1987 and studied Music Education at Kingsborough Communuty College & Lehman College But, started singing on stage at age 5 in church with an incredible musician who was the musical director for Stephanie Mills, Whitney Houston & Peggi Blue and many others. Learning from the best has led Edlene to share the stage and record with well-known recording artists including Whitney Houston, Eryka Badu, Issac Hayes, The Delphonics, Melba Moore, as well as having opened for the legendary Tony Bennett. Edlene Hart has also toured singing gospel throughout Europe & South Africa.

 

Edlene’s talents also include songwriting and producing for Iconic Rapper Chuck D's female recording artists’ Total Look and The Style in the 90s. She worked briefly as a songwriter with Grammy award-winning musician Lenny White, which led her to commercial jingle work. She can be heard singing on Folgers Coffee, McDonalds & New Jersey Community Bank commercials.

 

Throughout her years in New York, Edlene has been incredibly blessed to have worked in some of the top venues. In 2010 Edlene recorded her debut cd with F&G Blues Band called “Grease Up Your Strut.”

10 years ago, Edlene moved to Florida and immediately started performing all over singing jazz, blues & r&b. She also worked and toured with the late great Joey Gilmore a blues legend of South Florida which also recorded 2 songs on his newest cd Respect The Blues,

Edlene started a soulful female group that she performs in called Souultastic! Performing tributes to legendary female soul artists of the golden 70’s & 80’s. Their debut performance is “Jump For My Love Show” A Tribute to the Iconic Pointer Sisters!

 Being a lifetime fan of these iconic sisters she hopes to  spread an abundance of joy through this tribute celebrating one of the most incredible female groups in the music industry!

Jamila Smith

Vocalist

A native of Kalamazoo Michigan, Jamila began singing at the age of 14,competing and winning State and National competitions taking Supreme Honors. She is a graduate of Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance.

In 2005, she became one of the featured singers with legendary 5th Dimension. Jamila also starred as the lead in Elton John and Tim Rice’s “Aida” in Los Angeles. She made her symphonic debut in 2010 with the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra in her hometown.

Jamila is grateful to have been given the opportunity to share in the gift of song Headlining for over 16 years in the cruise industry. Her dazzling performances have won rave reviews at every port-of-call, from Stockholm to Singapore.
